Cyrus ArmanPrincipal and Head of West Coast Operations
Cyrus is a Principal in the Deallus Consulting Los Angeles office and also serves as the Head of West Coast Operations. In his time at Deallus, Cyrus has worked across multiple cardiovascular, oncology, autoimmune, metabolic, and neuroscience disease areas in research as well as generic/biosimilar, medical device and diagnostic platforms in both research as well as client facing capacity. Cyrus has helped clients completing major strategic projects involving million dollar BD investments and partnerships in both the Biopharma and Diagnostics sectors. He is also an experienced war-game and workshop facilitator. Through these projects he has gained an expertise in competitive landscaping, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
Cyrus joined Deallus in 2010 with direct experience in consulting, working as a scientific and business development consultant with biotech start-up companies in the southern California area, advising on both technical components as well as finance acquisition through venture capital and government sources. He is a joint inventor and patent holder of some of the technology developed within these companies.
Cyrus holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine and also holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering from USC.
