Hormoz is a Principal in the Deallus Consulting Los Angeles office. Throughout his consulting career, Hormoz has garnered experience across oncology, cardiovascular, metabolic, neuroscience, fibrotic, and orphan disease states. He has successfully facilitated strategic and tactical engagements involving launch readiness, competitive mapping and monitoring, conference coverage, benchmarking, and market access. Hormoz has supported a breadth of project scopes, including global (EU, LATAM, and APAC) initiatives and workshops focused on market entry, life cycle management, commercial opportunity assessment, generic entry/delay, biologic manufacturing, KOL market research, and companion diagnostics.
Notably, Hormoz has strong project management experience acting as lead consultant on numerous brand and pipeline strategy projects and workshops, acting as a thought partner with a variety of commercial, CI, clinical development, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs stakeholders. His management style ensures his team delivers timely high quality deliverables and valuable impact analysis.
Hormoz joined Deallus in 2013 with a breadth of analytical, strategic, and management experience, coupled with a deep understanding of Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, and Mathematics. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He has also accumulated over eight years of laboratory research experience in the field of Neuroscience at USC and Johns Hopkins University.
